Cookie Policy

Effective: August 16, 2026

The short version: Nothing non-essential runs on this website until you allow it. Analytics, session replay, advertising and live chat are all off by default, in every country, and stay off until you turn them on. This page lists every one of them. None of it touches your agent data, which is encrypted on your machine before it ever leaves.

1. What this covers

This policy covers clawmetry.com and the ClawMetry Cloud app at app.clawmetry.com. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal data more broadly.

"Cookies" here is shorthand for anything stored on or read from your device: cookies, localStorage, and similar identifiers. The law treats them the same way, so we do too.

2. How your choice is recorded

When you choose, we store a single cookie called cm_consent on .clawmetry.com. It holds the version of this policy you saw, a timestamp, and which categories you allowed. It lasts about six months, after which we ask again. It is scoped to the whole domain so you only answer once, whether you are on the marketing site or signed in to the app.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a refusal automatically and do not show you the banner at all.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button above, or the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is one click, the same as granting. When you withdraw, we delete the identifiers listed below from your browser straight away rather than waiting for them to expire.

3. Strictly necessary

These make the site and the app work. They cannot be switched off, and we do not ask for consent to use them because the law does not require it for this purpose.

4. Product analytics

Off until you allow it. Tells us which pages people actually read and which ones are broken.

5. Session replay

Off until you allow it, and separate from analytics because it is more revealing.

_clckMicrosoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation)Records how the page was used: scrolling, clicks and where something went wrong, so we can fix it1 year

6. Advertising and attribution

Off until you allow it. Tells us which ad or post brought you here.

cm_refClawMetryRemembers the referral code in the link you arrived onUntil you clear it
rg_v_*ClawMetryStops a campaign visit being counted twice within 30 minutesUntil you clear it

7. Live chat

Off until you allow it. Allowing it loads the Crisp chat widget (Crisp IM SARL, France) so you can message us, and Crisp sets its own cookies to keep the conversation together. If you never want to chat, leave it off and nothing from Crisp loads.

8. Things that are not cookies but still reach other companies

Being straight about this: some pages load images, fonts or video from other companies' servers. That does not store anything on your device, but it does tell those companies your IP address and which page you are on.

9. What we do not do

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We run no Facebook, LinkedIn, X or Reddit pixel. We do not track you across other websites. And none of the tools on this page ever receive your agents' conversations, prompts or output, because that content is encrypted on your machine before it reaches us.

10. Changes

If we add a tracker or change what an existing one does, we update this page and ask you to choose again rather than assuming your old answer still applies.

11. Contact
